Common questions

What is ScopeStream?

An AI-assisted digital pathology scanner paired with a network of remote pathologists — so slides can be digitised and reviewed by the right specialist, wherever they are.

How do slides get digitised?

Glass slides are scanned into high-resolution digital images on the ScopeStream scanner, which is designed to be straightforward and affordable to run in a routine lab.

How does ScopeStream connect with our systems?

Digitised slides can be shared securely for remote review and integrated with your existing systems through digital-pathology connectivity solutions such as Vivalution.

I’m a pathologist — what’s involved, and how are reviewers paid?

Flexible, remote review that fits around your existing commitments, with reviewers paid for the cases they complete. We’re finalising the details together with our founding reviewers — which is exactly why we’d like to hear from you now.

I run a lab — what will it cost?

We’re still shaping the commercial model, which is why the sign-up form asks what you’d expect to pay. We’ll share pricing with interested labs as we get closer to launch.

Is it clinically validated and regulated?

ScopeStream is built on validated science. The technology is backed by a 28-patent portfolio — spanning device design, ML models, algorithms and engineering — and four peer-reviewed publications across clinical-AI algorithms, performance evaluation and system architecture (in venues including IEEE and ML4H). The device is CDSCO-approved in India and designed for CE readiness in developed markets.
